Michael Jack Schmidt is the greatest third baseman of all time. The man hit 40+ home runs per season for the Philadelphia Phillies, year after year, back in the pre-juiced ball, pre-steroids era AND he won gold gloves, year after year.
Mike Schmidt is another reason Philadelphia is number one.
